2015 TOURNAMENT WILL PLAY ON TWO WEEKENDS, ONE LOCATION AGAIN- MEMPHIS COOK CONVENTION CENTER!

IN ORDER TO PLAY IN THE TOURNAMENT TEAMS HAVE TO CHECK-IN AT CONVENTION CENTER. The Team Check-In table will be open at Memphis Cook Convention Center on Friday from 6 PM to 9 PM and on Saturday from 8 AM to 11 AM. It will be located in the front of entrance to the NW/SW hall.
will begin on Saturday, January 25, 2015 (10-14's) and January 31, 2015 (15-18's). A wave play format will
be used with the morning wave beginning at 8:00 AM and the afternoon
wave beginning at 2:30 PM. All teams will play both days, AM and
PM waves will be assigned after entry deadline. The tournament Bracket
Play on Sundays will start at 8:00 AM. Pools for Saturday play as well as for Sunday brackets will be published before Thursday, January 22, 2015 and January 29, 2015 online on AES web site. Please do not call for the info since pool wave assignment can still be changed.

All divisions & Brackets will be played at Memphis Cook Convention Center
located at 255 N Main Street, Memphis, TN 38103. All courts will
be located in NW, SW and E Halls.
AGE DIVISIONS (Girls):
The tournament will offer competition in these age divisions:
11 Club, 12 Club
13 Club, 13 Power, 14 Club, 14 Power, 15 Club, 15 Power, 16 Club,
16 Power, 17 Club, 17 Power, 18 Club, 18 Power
ENTRY FEE & ENTRY PROCESS:
The entry fee
for 2015 event is $475. To enter the Memphis Challenge 2015:

OF TEAM ENTRIES:
Last year Memphis
tournament was a sold-out event with over 230 teams hosted on 32 courts and
several teams on the waiting list. This year's event will be able
to be even bigger with a planned 24 courts in the span of two weekends. All entries will be
accepted until deadline,however, the event reserves the right to
change the number or date as necessary to accomodate requests and
provide the best competition format in each age division. Please
enter as soon as possible in order to optimaly plan the format as
well as to avoid placement on the waiting list.
AND MEDICAL RELEASES:
There will be a certified trainer and EMS at the location within the
playing venue provided by Metro Sport Events, LLC. and MCCC. They will
provide services and supplies. Do not wait until the last minute
to have your players report to the medical tent to be taped as play
will not be delayed.
All coaches are required to have a Medical Release Form for each
player with them at all times. The representative of the team
will be required to sign a statement at Team Check-In, which verifies
that the forms are in their possession.

No outside food and coolers of any kind or size will be permitted in the MCCC. Neither
Memphis Challenge 2015 or the MCCC will assume responsibility for coolers or providing
a place for them. Please leave them at your hotel or in your
CHAIRS & LARGE BAGS (Lugguage):
Seating inside the hall around the courts is provided. Chairs, large
bags and luggage will not be permitted inside the playing hall.
For all divisions, one coach, with Impact or higher certification,
must be on the bench with the team at all times. (See the Delta
Region USAV Tournament Manual for particulars.)
Inclement Weather Policy:
Memphis Challenge 2015 volleyball tournament will not be cancelled due to weather. It is the decision of each coach and/or club whether their team should attempt to travel to a tournament in bad weather. Teams deciding not to attend Memphis Challenge 2015 tournament will not receive a refund of their tournament entry fee. In addition, those teams must notify the tournament director prior to the tournament that they will not participate.
